Strathcona Prep Volleyball School is delivered in partnership with School District 72 and offered in both Campbell River and Comox Valley. Athletes will receive course credit for their personalized training in the morning. Training will include world class coaching, strength and conditioning including sport sciences. Students will then attend their designate school for the remainder of the day.
Train with athletes from all over Canada and the world. We will place out of town students in one of our schools and a home that fits their academic and athletic needs. Once enrolled students will then plan their studies with an academic advisor and we will customize each students daily training plan around academic schedule and training requests.
Train in a pro environment. Students who have trained with Strathcona Prep's staff are successfully competing on the world stage on Provincial, National and U Sport/NCAA teams.
Club Volleyball. 2nd Semester athletes we will find you a club team to play on. (Our partners are Wave Volleyball Club, Crush Volleyball Club and Strikers Volleyball Club). NOTE: A separate team will be selected to travel internationally to compete and represent SPSS.
NOTE: Students who already reside on North Vancouver Island will continue to attend whichever school they are already enrolled.

Multi-sport athletes are encouraged to play basketball

National/provincial team prospects 2nd load period
Quality Competition Schedule
A group of athletes will be identified to represent SPSS and travel to competitions outside of Canada. The goal is to provide high performance experiences that develops a higher level of competition habits. Further to showcase athletes to the appropriate colleges and universities.
Recreation Cross Training
Within their schedule athletes will also have the opportunity to volunteer, plan and host a fundraiser, participate in cross training such as kayaking, yoga, hiking, biking, skiing, multi-sports, etc.
